The mainstream media failed to see the rise of Donald Trump in 2016. Now it’s overlooking another grassroots movement that may soon be of equal significance— the growing number of liberals “taking the red pill.” People of all ages and ethnicities are posting YouTube videos describing “red pill moments”—personal awakenings that have caused them to reject leftist narratives imbibed since childhood from friends, teachers, and the news and entertainment media.
You might say that those who take the red pill have been “triggered.” But instead of seeking out “safe spaces,” they’re doing the opposite, posting monologues throwing off the shackles of political correctness.
Their videos can feature the kind of subversiveness that was once a hallmark of the left—before the movement lost its sense of humor.
Candace Owens, a charismatic young African American, posts commentaries on her YouTube channel whose titles seem expressly designed to make PC heads explode.
A sample: “I Don't Care About Charlottesville, the KKK, or White Supremacy.” The commentary calls out liberal fearmongering over white supremacists. “I mean there are, what, 6,000 Klansmen left in our nation. You want me to actually process that as a legitimate fear every day when I wake up?”

I’ve seen some of Candace Owens’ videos. Very refreshing to see her & others see the light. There may be hope yet.
Stephan Molyneaux has a video with her on his YouTube channel. She's very pretty, intelligent and articulate. She's taken the red pill...hasn't fully digested it yet but she's well on her way.

I don’t even mind leftist being leftist. But this hysteria and over the top political correctness has to end.
You're right. democrats and leftists in general have waaaaaaay overplayed their hand. The nonstop, round the clock and over the top criticism of Donald Trump has turned off millions of people. They've turned Donald Trump into the most unlikely underdog in history. And we all love underdogs.
Better late than never, I say. Many of the most solid patriots I know grew their values out of being disillusioned with the radical left.
One can only hope.
It has been with urgency that the Left has used Academia to capture large swaths of young adults with mush for brains.
The wicked Stalinists are a patient lot, with a plan. As conservatives, traditionalists and patriots die off, they must be replaced in government by hard left young, who are prepared to permanently “fundamentally change America”.
The Plantation owners will enrich themselves further, as they finally subdue and subject the collective mules who fell for the indoctrination of America, by academia.
Only by the grace of God can the tide shift. Not at all sure being “woke”, or the Red Pill, can change this course fast enough, in time to “save” this country.

I call BS. Don’t get your hopes up. As is well known, leftists/liberals are victims of mental illness and a sickness of the soul. They can’t cure that by simply wanting to. Oh sure, there is anecdotal evidence to the contrary. But even cancer patients sometimes have spontaneous remissions that are permanent.

No real revelations, it was all stuff that had been discussed on FR a million (or more??) times. However, One bit stood out - a father being denied visitation noted that he wasn't being punished for doing wrong by his kids, he was being punished for wanting to do right by them. The mother was using them as a weapon against him, and the courts, naturally, sided with her.
It defined parental rights in a new way for me, that I'd not considered before.
