I have an ex-eidim (father-in-law of my son) who is a staunch anti-vaccinist. I’ve read the literature that he touts, and it’s all so much blather. It’s like a cult.
Bottom line is, I vaccinated all my kids. None are autistic. My son vaccinated his son for essentials during a visitation day. He’s not autistic. I was vaccinated. I’m not autistic.
I’ve known a few autistic kids, and it wasn’t from the vaccines. Sometimes it’s genetics, sometimes it’s lead or other toxins. I’ve also read the literature refuting the alleged correlation. Yes, in my experience, it’s nuts.
Vaccines have been with us for a few hundred years. Autism was not so prevalent except recently. Vaccines work. Smallpox has been eradicated because of vaccines. Autism occurs with or without vaccines. There is no significant correlation. There was an anti-vaccination movement as soon as vaccines became widespread, because it was more lucrative for doctors and nurses to treat infectious viral disease patients than it was to simply eliminate the danger of viral infections with vaccines. Shall we go back to the good old days? Polio, anyone?

But they can easily be used now as a well accepted practice to “induce” new maladies that Pharmaceutical companies just hnappen to have a cure, or more typically remediative medicine that in many cases has side effects then it is off to the races
I study this industry very thoroughly and have been invited to speak at conferences in my chosen field which is more the business side not laboratory. It is fascinating, horribly so to see how quickly these drugs are rushed to market with often incomplete or even falsified testing and then all of the post release crap that ensues and we are the rats. Case in point, what are called Proton Inhibitors (Nexium etc) were prescribed post op and I used a different therapy non medicinal. 1 year later word came out that they can cause liver damage and other lethal problems. Funny thing is the root of ulcers and excess acidity are not too much acid, they are because a bacterium present in the intestines has been able to get into the stomach and park in the wall. H-Pylori and the reason it survives is the acidity in your stomach is not enough to kill it. To save time this issue is a lot of processed sugars, most notably High Fructose Corn Syrup is undigestable and is converted as best your body can and creates a food source for Candiasis and others.
Post op the section of my stomach was gone and I watch my sugar intakes and I never took the prescribed medicine. In closing, you would be stunned at the chemistry changes all the pills and potions “Doctors” prescribe today as I am now working in Addiction therapies across the board.
So in closing, I have not had a vaccination since 2005 when I had to for travel to South America and I never will, I do not trust them but each of us must choose
PS - New research is looking at sleep deprivation as a basis for ADHD, not an internal one. Following that one as well

Smallpox, Polio, GREAT! Modern vaccines, not so much.
Risk v Reward. I REFUSE to get flu shots. Not necessary, risky, they don’t work all the time.
I did get the new Pneumococcal Vaccination since I have damaged lungs from years of former smoking.
When it comes to babies and toddlers I would be VERY careful. Don’t be lemmings and do whatever the doctor says.
There is a lot of info out there about the DANGERS of vaccines.
Back in the sixties, the Hippies had a saying on bumper stickers “Question Authority”.
That is even more important today. I would add one of my own “Question EVERYTHING”
When my youngest was ready to go to school, over thirty years ago, I took her for her check up. Her regular doctor was out, so his senior partner saw her. I had only just heard about possible problems with pertussin vaccinations, and I said to him, “I really don’t want her to have the pertussis vaccine”. He replied, “I NEVER give the pertussis vaccine. It causes too many problems”. He had been practicing for forty years at that point, and he knew his onions. When one of my granddaughters had her first or second vaccination, my daughter happened to be looking at her that evening, when her eyes started darting back and forth rapidly. My daughter took her to the doctor, who said it was seizure activity, most likely brought on by the vaccination, and she wasn’t to have anymore. I think he was referring to the pertussis vaccine, IIRC. A decade ago, skipping a vaccination wasn’t too big a risk. But since our country has been flooded with medically unvetted immigrants, from countries who have NOT eradicated childhood diseases, they’re being seen here, now, for the first time in many decades. Vaccination proponents used to warn the public, “if you’d ever seen a case of whooping cough or diphtheria, you would NEVER think of not vaccinating your child”! At that time, it was highly unlikely we WOULD ever see one here. Not anymore. Thanks Ted! Thanks Obama! Just another part of the legacy those evil men left us.
