Nice article. Thanks.

Seems to me that the SAVE THE WHALES group , now that they have given up saving the whales, should also volunteer to help out in the rescue of flood victims. They have a bunch of cool boats.

I’m not even in Houston, but it was comforting to see those men and hear their voices.

Near the end did you see that poor hummingbird trying to find a little sugar water left in that feeder? Hope it found some because the poor thing’s got a long way to fly to find flowers with several feet of water everywhere.

Bobby Boucher and friends from Crabcake, Louisiana show off their catch. They were returning from the rescue center to pick up more stranded Houstoners when Bobby hooked the big fellow in the middle of Interstate 10.

It's about half full.

The people did the right thing by not using the red dye crap.

This pic made me cry.

There are *lots* of Dobermanns in Texas and they cannot swim worth a crap.

Three of them, on this one boat....God bless the rescuers.

Black and white Cajuns from Louisianian...

"Cajuns" are Acadians, descendants of the French colonists, driven out of Eastern Canada and Maine, by the English.

The "blacks" are probably Creole.

“... they cannot swim”.

I wonder if it is their huge chests? Bless the rescuers!! Hugs, Mom

That reminds me of one of my favorites songs from the past!

Body shape and the lack of body fat and buoyant fur.

Some Dobes do become adept swimmers but they’re exceptions rather than rules.
