The elite news media loves it when Republicans attack Republicans.
The leftwing reporters, editors, producers, television personalities, and analysts all find it exciting to watch Republicans try to damage each other.
If a moderate Republican attacks a traditional, more conservative Republican, the former is often lionized as a heroic figure for putting citizenship above partisanship.

The real problem lies with conservative candidates who are not well funded nor adequately prepared to take on the incumbents. We had a treasure trove of candidates who could have come from the TEA party, but realized that even the TEA party wasn’t ready for prime time.
Newt has it right
I agree. Just now finished watching the DVD of the History Channel’s Sun Tsu’s “Art of War.” It is far better to create infighting in your enemy’s camp by using your spies..i.e. RHINO’s, than to do direct battle.
War is a battle of politics and winning the will of the people, not necessarily winning the battle on the field.
In the primaries I vote for the real Republican. In the general I vote for the one that is on the ticket. And I only donate to candidates I like and never to a general fund.
What if a Republican turns out to be a Left-winger or an enabler of Left-wing interests? I think every rule has an exception.
Republicans are Democrats.
So is Newt.
“That this even needs to be said illustrates why the GOP is known as The Stupid Party.”
You are exactly right.
Best post!
How do we classify these politicians who work to protect the democrat agenda?
What differentiates them from democrats?
What do we call the one senator whose vote prevented the repeal of obamacare?
What do we call the republicans who are trying to stymie the agenda of a republican president who actually wants to accomplish something for the base?
Republicans in DC simply need to STFU.
They do not have to create headline-making answers every time some reporter points a camera at them.
Poor Newt. Trying to have it both ways, against a president who is self aware and with the people. Newt ignores the fact there is no Republican Party.
There is Trump and the UniParty and communists in the streets.
Newt has run completely out of intellectual gas and the realities on the ground today are now over his head, not in his wheel house of experience or solutions.
Doubt Trump even calls him anymore.
Newt, why don’t you tell that directly to Ryan, McConnell and their ilk who would rather bad mouth our President than work with him to get things passed that THEY PROMISED the voters would get done!
Call them out publicly BY NAME instead of in general terms!
When will people connect the dots??? It isn’t R vs D, it’s USA vs Globalism. Both sides have sold out to the one world government, UN Agenda 21 & UN Agenda 3o. That is what we are experiencing here. Vote the bums out!
They’re NOT Republicans, they’re Democrap operatives who need to be thrown out of the party.
I have to respectfully disagree with Newt. We can walk and chew gum, get rid of the worst RINOS and take out the vulnerable Rats.
Newt doesn’t have to put up with the two senators most hated by their constituents: McLiar and Flake. McCain will be dead soon, good riddance. His Mini-me Flake needs to be humiliated at the polls, stomped into the ground. I look forward to firing and humiliating him in 2018.
It is far past the time for the party to get some real LEADERSHIP or just close up shop. I pray daily that Trump ditches this (grand?)old party in his run for 2020
When the establishment GOPe start standing with President Trump, I would support them. Until that time the never-Trumpers must go!
LOL! How awesome is that!
Excellent. Gingrich is right. I hope Republicans are listening.
Aside from Trump and maybe Five Congress/ Senators, I dispise the Republicans more than democrats. At least Democrats stand up for their votes, Republicans squat on their voters and take a steaming dump.
