Internet’s longest-running white supremacist site offline
The Washington Times ^ | 8/26/2017 | Andrew Blake

Stormfront, one of the internet’s oldest and most popular white supremacist sites, has been booted off its web address of more than two decades amid a crackdown against hate sites.

The address Stormfront.org went dark on Friday, and publicly available information current lists its domain status as “under hold,” a category reserved for websites under legal dispute or slated for deletion, the USA Today network first reported.

The Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, a D.C.-based nonprofit group, said it was behind the effort and had successfully booted the website from its domain of 22 years by raising its concerns with Stormfront’s registrar, Network Solutions LLC, and its parent company, Web.com.

"Stormfront has looked pretty tame compared to some of the 'storming' on FR. I’d have as soon let it be."

I studied propaganda practices for decades. Around 2004, there was quite a Nazi push going on here. It was time to have a look at what the Nazis were up to.

Sure enough, the Stormfront crew had plotted to pretend to be Christians while using FR and to propagandize and recruit others against Jewish people from that perspective. It went on for years.

Nazis are indeed socialists, and they've become more than a little nervous about the latest arrangement to neutralize their effectiveness (desensitization to dull the effects of their crazy talk) and deconstruct their commie counterparts.

Nazis need communists. If the two cannot saturate political speech in a nation to the extent that conservatives shy away, then they lose. American conservatives need to lose their fears of others hypersensitivities and wade on into the fray.

Most Americans are not pre-World-War-2 Germanic people. Americans have not been instilled with the generations of culture and folklore that preceded 1930s Germany or Austria. If Nazi speech comes to be regarded as more boring in the U.S.A. than inflaming, Nazis will be ignored.

Nazis aren't afraid of commies. They're afraid of true conservatives of the American kind. See World War 2.

Communists are also antisemitic and racist, and they're the much larger threat today. Closet antisemitism and racism can be rather explosive and surprising from communists coming out of their closets. We don't want to see that happen. Inspiring them to get full of false hope and vanity is very important now.

So don't believe everything you see written or spoken. Know that the real personalities behind personas that seem to have changed haven't really changed and will not change (see conservative American cultural stubbornness). Now is the time to desensitize likely allies and friends a little while confusing the real opposition and enticing it to untimely attacks.

Names and labels shouldn't scare anyone. Be on the lookout for real evil plans, threats and actions instead.

Republican politicians have been ridiculed as being “stupid” for a long time. Let’s find out how much intelligence the various politicians really have and where their loyalties truly lie.

No more Mr. Nice Guy. If they want to fight, we’ll give ‘em some of their own medicine.

Ironically, it’s net neutrality-type regulations that would prevent private web hosting companies from doing this kind of thing. Unless we regulate the web as a utility this will continue.

Net neutrality applies to ISPs, who run the pipes, not to hosting companies. In any case, net neutrality is about forbidding the ISPs to charge differentially for carrying different types of or sources of content. E.g., X Corporation owns Y Cable, Inc., an ISP, and Z Sports, a content company. So, naturally, Y is strangely motivated to carry Z's traffic for less money and at higher speed than, say, W Sports, a competing content company.

Net neutrality is about business regulation, not about free speech.

The current case is not about net neutrality. It is, rather, a subversive attempt to repeal the First Amendment online. The people behind it must be reviled for being the fascists they are. The First Amendment must apply online as well as offline. And international opinion must not matter, even if the Muslim Traitor gave over authority the internet to an international body. We must take it back if we are to MAGA!

Internet registrars must be forced to accept all comers equally. ISPs must be forced to carry all traffic. As for hosting companies, well, if you have a domain and an ISP, you don't need a hosting company. You can do it yourself. You can be your own host.

Yes - the way that you get internet registrars is to force them to accept all comers equally. That is net neutrality-TYPE regulations, in that it does the same thing of enforcing content neutrality via statute, but for hosts, not ISPs. :)

"Closet antisemitism and racism can be rather explosive and surprising from communists coming out of their closets. We don't want to see that happen."

Little correction here: we'd rather see that from them very soon rather than later. You should see by now, that our nation would be in a dire situation, if Hillary had been elected.

And I'll go ahead and let something else out now. A few of the "neverTrumps" were only herding many others to support him. Many in the herd, dependent on government revenues for their incomes and hoping that the paradigm of social pathologies would continue to be boosted, really believed that the President would lean much further in their direction.

Surprise! They had watched too much television only over the past 20 years or so and neglected to remember or study Mr. Trump's likely positions from earlier on.

We must ramp up manufacturing to get adequate revenues for survival. That's the weak link in our economy (besides immorality and vices) and must be repaired. The middle political class won't be supported much longer without that remedy.

Exactly right.

Both groups in Charlottesville, the nazi / white supremacists and Antifa, are in fact fascist. But the nazis are a risible freak show of kooks, whereas Antifa enjoys the support of the popular culture, the MSM, and the Democrat Party. While we should certainly condemn the nazis, we must obliterate Antifa and their groupies, the only fascists who matter today.

Chilling and disgusting. Some of us see it for what it is. I fear we are Cassandra in the 21st Century.

"Both groups in Charlottesville, the nazi / white supremacists and Antifa, are in fact fascist."

That's true for now. But what if Antifa had everything it wanted for 12 or 16 years? I suspect, after tiring of repeatedly swapping business investors and managers, that they would eventually nationalize everything. The Nazis were on their way to doing the same but were cut short, IMHO.

Anyway, I also tend to put the two in the same basket, because I'm an American and have contempt for either system that might arrive at the same outcome. But the situation at hand for us all (teaching millions of others with a tiny prod here and there to the herds) would seem to need good, old fashioned broad brushes and recycled old labels.

Very interesting topic, though, also considering that some of the top Nazis were animal worshipers and tree worshipers for the sake of mugging and further humiliating their own neighbors and countrymen, much like many of the NIMBYs on the Rockies.

Look around the web. Lots of Conservative sites are losing their right to monetize. More are being banned outright. The take out one like Stormfront with some fanfare because hey, who isn’t against designated NAZIs, but with less fuss they are knocking their opposition off the web and in this day when communication is close to instant that is knocking conservatives out of communication. The Communications monopolies need to be treated as Monopolies and broken up each into several smaller entities and if those smaller concerns all come under the control of Silicon Valley Communists then they need to be declared a Cartel and broken into yet smaller pieces.

need to silence anyone or anything deemed “racist”, “intolerant” by the left

Deemed to be opposition. Claimed to be racist, intolerant.

Living off of slavery and unfair exploitation is part of a fallen-Rome grade problem. It’s fun while it lasts but those chickens come back to roost. China, for example, will demand the glory that it believes that it is due — a glory which Satan is demanding through them. Why isn’t our own secular left on top of this? Because they are a brotherhood to no good.

ICANN registrars (GoDaddy, Google, Network Solutions) have been hijacking domain registrations, refusing to perform DNS, etc.. Nearly all residential ISP’s block port 80 and 443 preventing you from ‘being your own host’.

ISPs should be forbidden to do that. ISPs should be allowed to charge for bandwidth usage, but not for how the bandwidth is used.

Attempting to put any ‘controversial’ content online requires the use of a DDOS mitigation service (such as CloudFlare, Akamai, etc..)

That's a law-enforcement issue. DOS / DDOS should be illegal.

Of course, good ISP's will offer DDOS mitigation. But they must offer it to all equally, be it Stormfront or CNN or BLM! Or FR.

I am not so sure that he SF gathering was a legitimate conservative event. It would seem more likely a cardboard cutout put up by the Left the way the Charlottesville thing was mostly a leftist event including the leadership of both ostensible sides.

Our War for Independence was not a Revolution but a war for independence and a civil war at the same time. The second part was most true in the south where both armies were almost entirely militias of colonials.

If something is to be considered conservative, it might as well be genuine. Stormfront and the like were mostly blowing off personal steam. That’s even a common condition of FR. Bringing the glory of God to the fore is the only way to get a lasting regeneration and victory.

left wing socialist nutjobs actually built and own 90% of the internet. Silicon Valley is the most thoroughly Communist enclave on the planet. The techies who made so much money so fast have no perception of where the money came from. For the kiddie billionaires it fell out of the sky on them. They can't conceive of work being necessary to make a living. People only have to work because rich people don't want to share that which no one earned but just fell out of the sky. They know they are smarter than everyone else (and they are in a narrow channel) and believe that gives them the duty to make everyone else be nice to each other and share.

I recently heard of a well known Holocaust survivor speaking at one of these “anti-hate” events. And cried a little inside to think how he was exploited for a superficial false flag. It isn’t enough to be “anti-hate.” One must be pro-love.

The Spread of ignorance was well underway decades before immigration, legal and illegal became a real factor. There has been no history taught in the schools for fifty years, and no civics or geography, little or no English. The schools inculcate attitudes rather than educate which makes the population over a human lifetime into the mass of nonthinking interchangeable parts that make a Communist Utopia seemingly inevitable and its faux facsimile probably unaboidable.
