Trump gives the Pentagon six months to kick THOUSANDS of transgender service people out of the military if they are deemed 'non-deployable'.
A month after he announced a ban on transgender people serving in the military via Twitter, Donald Trump has issued a memo on how the decision is to be implemented.
The two-and-a-half-page note says Defense Secretary Jim Mattis must consider a service member's 'deployability' when deciding whether to eject them from the military.
That means that if they are unable to serve in a war zone, take part in training or serve on a ship for months, they must go, the Wall Street Journal reported.
It has not been spelled out exactly how the criteria will be assessed, however the Trump administration seems to be implying that it does not believe transgender service people are deployable.
The policy gives the Pentagon six months to oust 'non-deployable' transgender service members, bans new transgender hires and orders the Pentagon to stop paying for trans service members' medical treatments.

No. But I do think that President Trump, unless it's in the background, is not getting the views from those who gave up on or were forced out of the military because of Obama's priorities.

I doubt it. But, under Obama they were promised hundreds of thousands in free medical transition and follow up and sustainment medication.

Exactly - the military should be all about accomplishing the mission and the more non-deployables the more difficult the job. Might as well fill it up with “conscientious objectors”...
Only if they just got in. In nine years of active duty and 14 in the reserves I have seen two obvious gay people in the military. One was a flamer and was discharged and one was a female E-8 sufficiently embedded in the system to survive. I never saw or heard of a tranny.

Then deploy them. Front lines. Part of the 4000 returning troops to Afghanistan. IED sniffers are in high demand. If they bleed out and die or have a mental break, I am sure it will be documented.
Your take away - They will be out of the military fighting force, one way or another. AND FAST.
Our military force needs decimated. REMFs and snowflakes to the head of the line.
Then a top to bottom war fighting suitability review.

I agree to an extent, but I do think having women work in administration and supply, medical and dental, etc was useful in freeing up men to do things that actually require strength and dexterity. I think we’d have been better off to keep it that way.
That is the reason many people with many different medical issues are not allowed to serve. Any medical condition that might require any special treatment that could interfere with deployment is a no go. We need to be able to deploy our military, at times on a moment’s notice. That is just common sense. That is why on any level accepting transgender people never made sense even if you support them.
If there are transgender people serving that are considered deployable they likely have not had surgery, or do not plan to have the surgery. Are they still considered to be transgender in that case? I don’t know the actual definition, never looked it up.
Deployable or non-deployable is of great concern to the military, they need to be able to deploy at full strength. I am not surprised this is the criteria. If any are allowed to stay that claim they are transgender, they cannot even begin treatment leading to gender surgery or they will become non-deployable.
If a person just verbally claims to be transgender, and does not desire or plan to have the surgery then they would be deployable and I don’t see how they could be discharged simply on the basis of them claiming to be transgender, unless that interferes with their mental state. I personally think it would interfere but that is my opinion and I am not a medical person of any sort.
I would bet most of those that claim to be transgender joined the military just to get their surgery and everything related to it paid for them. So the percentage of military claiming to be transgender will likely drop to close to zero after those that are non deployable are chaptered out and those that joined for the free surgery they know they will not now get leave on their own.

Here’s the media game plan: half a dozen leave tearfully and file lawsuits, are crowned leaders of a fictitious social movement, and when the rest fail to appear it’s because they’re “back in the closet”, not because they don’t exist. Watch it happen.
Last year the Air Force ruled that trannies didn't have to perform the annual physical training tests because they, the trannies, weren't able to meet the physical requirements.
The article I read had a photo of some officers dressed like women and they were fat and disgusting.
