Trump gives the Pentagon six months to kick THOUSANDS of transgender service people out...

Trump gives the Pentagon six months to kick THOUSANDS of transgender service people out of the military if they are deemed 'non-deployable'.

A month after he announced a ban on transgender people serving in the military via Twitter, Donald Trump has issued a memo on how the decision is to be implemented.

The two-and-a-half-page note says Defense Secretary Jim Mattis must consider a service member's 'deployability' when deciding whether to eject them from the military.

That means that if they are unable to serve in a war zone, take part in training or serve on a ship for months, they must go, the Wall Street Journal reported.

It has not been spelled out exactly how the criteria will be assessed, however the Trump administration seems to be implying that it does not believe transgender service people are deployable.

The policy gives the Pentagon six months to oust 'non-deployable' transgender service members, bans new transgender hires and orders the Pentagon to stop paying for trans service members' medical treatments.

Well, I would say that General Kelly and General Mattis are just what you describe. I don’t know about McMaster, he was still active duty.

The dirty secret of the Navy is not that you don’t get shore leave, you do, and in many countries. The problem is that every Navy port across the globe looks like the other. Big metal buildings, dirty bars, dirty girls and Taxi drivers on a suicidal mission.

They’re all on hormone therapy and junk and that is why they are nondeployable.

Depends on the definition. Men wanting their junk cut off is a fairly small number in the military. Women who wear short hair, men’s jeans, unfashionable shoes and date other women, now that’s another story, and I think they are getting dumped into that larger number.

“This will never get to the courts for the purpose of abolishing the rules set by the CIC.”

Correct. Our armed forces are subject to the Uniform Code of Military Justice and the orders of their commander-in-chief, not the 9th Circus.
I sense a lefty daughter nib-nosing again, pleading with Daddy to “be nice”.
Although it appears reasonable on its face, most us have had it with REMF freaks like `Chelsea’ Manning gaming the system with the help of the Kenyan for the last eight years.

The mentally ill have no place in the military!

We used to help these people, now we encourage them to act out their delusions.

Why is the military accepting mentally ill persons in the first place?

He is being generous. Much more than I would.

Of course, I’d never give thought to a second term.

The military s mission oriented. It is not a social experiment. Federal dollars go to silly stuff like this.

I did some quick research about your contention that McMaster, Kelly, and Mattis are the kind of military people President Trump needs for advisors. I advocated for military officers who either left or were removed from the military by Obama. These three are anything but.

McMaster is still on active duty. He needed special authorization from the US Senate to fill both roles.

Mattis needed a waiver to serve as Secretary of Defense, as he retired as a General only three years before. He did just fine in Obama's military.

John Kelley didn't leave the military until January 2016. He went right from that to the confirmation as DHS.

These three would hardly qualify as people who rejected or were rejected by Obama's military priorities. President Trump needs some of those outsiders to come in with the perspective of what went wrong with the military over those eight years.
