One of the FBI’s top investigators tapped by special counsel Robert Muller to investigate Russian interference in the elections has left the team, according to a report.
Sources told ABC News that Peter Strzok — who had just been tapped about a month ago — is now working for the FBI’s human resources division.
It is not yet known why Strzok left the team. He had supervised the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s emails last year.

Or maybe he left because he’s disgusted that Trump is being investigated to no end, but Hillary’s gotten off so far?
President Trump should call him into the office for a chat, just for grins, and to send the media into another tizzy, no doubt.
If he investigated Hillary, his input is obviously not wanted. This is a ‘get Trump’ mission...

That sounds like one heck of a demotion. I have only seen things like this happen in the civilian world, in large companies, when somebody has a short time left to retirement and they can’t think of an acceptable reason to fire him. About half the time they say no thank you and quit. I don’t know what his situation is, but if I had only 12 months to make the retirement formulae work, I’d probably take the HR gig. (I didn’t have even that option as I got Obama’d out of a job.)

By the way, the Breitbart article did NOT say that Wray did this and it did NOT say that the reassigned FBI agent did anything wrong. But nice try standing up for the anti-Trump actors.
Another possibility is that he is caught up in the clinton Investigation. Reporter indicated HR is the move to get someone away from substantive issue

Well, where better to look for evidence of the Russian Collusion plot than FBI HQ. And who better to do it than the “lead investigator” who protected Hillary. Vacuuming all the files and finding enough dirt to assure perpetual silence takes an experienced hand.

Seems to me that Paul Manafort would know if he was raided by the FBI at 4am in the morning.
