Ahh...what was his GS rank BEFORE this move and AFTER this move? I’m curious about how far he was “demoted”. Of course he could simply have been “put out to pasture” in a non-critical (or, since this is the government, a position requiring no actual work) job & you’re simply blowing unfounded smoke.
