There are rumblings Attorney General Sessions will take a lateral move
We received word on this at Gateway Pundit earlier today.

It started with an anonymously sourced story from Politico which claimed “department staffers” were suggesting that Jeff Sessions might be moved over from the Attorney General slot to replace departing General John Kelly at Homeland Security. Given all the scrutiny Sessions has been under, paired with conservative pushback against the idea of his being fired, it’s easy to see how this might look tempting to President Trump… at least in theory. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) expressed his disapproval over the idea that Sessions may move to the DHS in a series of tweets. In his first tweet he said, “AG Jeff Sessions has a good ring to it. Highly qualified, committed to the rule of law, tough on crime, and fiercely independent.”

Yes he did choose to keep Rosenstein and promote him after Sessions asked for his resignation.

Why did Trump nominate Rosenstein? Was the Establishment Republicans behind this? He was confirmed by the Senate 94 to 6 so everyone knew who he was. Whereby Rachel Brand was confirmed 52 to 46 along party lines.

I don’t know why Trump chose and nominated him. I just know that he did. Trump is his own man. I doubt the establishment ordered him to do anything or asked him to do anything.

Somehow, regardless of how hard I try, I just can’t see Alabama voting for Schumer/Pelosi or Pocahontas/Hillary/Kamela, no matter what the fate of Sessions.

I get you on all that but how would you like to be Donald Trump who ....not just him but family members...will be getting unlawful invasive investigations from Robert Mueller and his commune of Democrat lawyers.
Trump can see the Deep State Swamp fix is in and this all started when Jeff Sessions recused himself. Even worse Sessions brought in Ron Rosenstein who appointed Robert Mueller.
Sessions caved and recused because he is too much the law abiding gentleman. But this did not impact Sessions. This impacts Trump and family. I would be just as angry as Donald Trump.

And the rest of us are not going to forgot how Sessions knowing full-well he was going to Recuse himself over nothing accepted the appointment, and deviously neglected to inform the President, and Screwed the rest of the country from getting Justice.
