Mother, 4-year-old boy among 17 shot over 17 hours

At least 17 people were shot, over 17 hours from Friday to Saturday including a 4 yr. old boy. The boy's mother was also shot in the head and died later. In the North Austin neighborhood were they were "Ambushed" by Gunmen.

I was monitoring most of this last night on a scanner feed from the Chicago Police Dispatch. It was a Warzone. They used so much yellow tape they had a car designated to run around and deliver yellow tape.

And liberals think we should ALL live this way???

we never had these issues when the Mexican migrants honored the law.

I would pass through migrant camps as a child law abiding migrants.

I don’t think Chicago’s homicide rate can be be attributed to sanctuary cities. It’s more the inevitable result of 50 years of liberal social policies that led to the breakdown of the black family structure.

Important note they don’t mention here. This all happened while they were also flooded with constant barrage of calls for “persons down”, Armed Robberies, Burglaries, Assault and Batteries, Stolen Autos, Domestic Disputes, Suicides, Welfare checks, And Etc.

There was not one minute the scanner went quiet.

I suspect every person shot was black or latino. Have the massive Black Lives Matter demonstrations begun yet in Chicago or other cities? Oh wait, no money or power to be gained from blacks killing blacks or latinos.

Marxist Chicago and,presumably,Marxist Illinois,has among the strictest gun laws in the country.Maoist Vermont has just about the most lenient gun laws in the country.I wonder if there are reliable figures from both that would compare their per capita murder rates....specifically murders involving firearms.

Perhaps the CPD street cops are staying out of that part of town unless they absolutely have to go in. Since the residents hate them, why put their own lives in danger? Just take all the breaks they are authorized, stay in friendly parts of town and when in the war zone, drive on, look straight ahead and only stop when ordered to do so.
