My good friends at Free Republic. We must force Congress to live under the same laws as all of us normal Americans. The time is now. We are not surfs. We own this country, we make it run. The Trump Presidency has given us the window we need to fix our criminal Congress. No Congressman should get lifetime anything in excess of what any U.S Soldier, Sailor, Airman, or Marine, Coast Guard earn defending this country. No special health care, No lifetime perks, no insider trading. We must show up at every event where our elected representatives and make it widely know that Congress has exempted themselves from the same laws they foist upon the general population. We are not a country of kings. If necessary we must drag them screaming from their offices and regain control of our country.
LOL! Try telling them that. Our only reason for being is to provide them with their salaries.
Nor are we serfs.
Certainly not Smurfs.
Congress is our excrement.
Some have 2 year contracts, others 6 year ones. I can count on one hand the number I’d go to bat for that should be retained.
Ditch the incumbents.
Cancel their Obamacare exemption.
Make them have more face to face meeting with their constituents.
charlie don’t surf.
We own this country, we make it run.

LOL, that’s so cute.
Join the National FIRE YOUR CONGRESSMAN Movement!
It is LONG past time.
it's one thing to spout off about your pet-peeves.
But it is another, in exactly how do you expect for this to happen? Out of the goodness of their hearts?
Dream on buddy.
Congress does not agree. And says, “Get effed” in any case.
Congress are our employees but they donot answer to us. They answer to George Soros and the Chamber of Commerce.
Ask if he will bring it up for a vote and try and get him on the record so I can use it against him or for him if he actually does it.
It has to start somewhere.
Why Now ? The Trump Presidency is our window Brother !
Getting some congressman on record to agree with you means nothing. He's going to have to get the rest of the Congress to go along with him. Congress will not limit their power by voting to get rid of the perks they have become so accustomed to. Not going to happen.
What do you think you're going to do, walk in to a TV station and demand that they record a statement for you? Again, dream on.
The news media is not a TV station anymore if you have failed to notice. Check YouTube, Twitter, and million conservative blogs.
If the military taught me a single thing it was never quit.
Sit with your thumb up your butt if you want, but I won't.
I can dig a foxhole with a spoon if I need to. I'm going to fight for my America every damn day till I die.
But before you assume that everyone is like you, I am not. I'm 70 years old, and live in country forty miles from the nearest city. I do not have a TV or take a newspaper. I don't care about Twitter, Facebook or a "million" conservative blogs. I don't have the time.
And you think I am sitting with my thumb up my butt? I am not. I have had quadruple bypass open heart surgery, a coronary atrial valve replacement, two knee replacements and a shoulder replacement. It's all I can do to get up everyday to raise our cows and manage our farm. It is physically demanding and draining at my age.
I am not wasting what few years I have left trying to satisfy your pet peeve about what you think is wrong with the government. I've had my day already.
You assume way more than you know.
Most of them have managed to make it so we don’t have ready access to them. Last I checked, you couldn’t even send an e-mail to a congressman if you weren’t in his district;at least not & get it noticed.
The zip code is the key. Find a zip in their area and it will go thru even if you use your address. Just change state and zip....boom!
Congressmen are the employees of organizations that have large resources devoted to buying and employing Congressmen and Senators. The voter select the candidates they would like to see become wealthy working for the Chamber of Commerce or George Soros.
