Sapna Rampersaud has written an article for National Review Online's The Corner titled"Illegal Immigrants Can Now Defend the Laws They Break," detailing how the states of New York and California have moved to permit illegal aliens to practice law. This is the kind of thing one might expect to see as a headline on the satirical website The Onion, but, sadly, it's true.

Actually, they've been headed that way for some time. John Feere, previously a legal policy analyst here at the Center, wrote about California's efforts clear back in January of 2014, and commented on the back flips achieved by the California Supreme Court in deciding that permitting illegal aliens to practice law was copacetic:

The basic model is South Africa where whites are now a discriminated against minority.

they are strangers in their own land.

Modern-day South Africa is the operational plan for Europe and for the USA also.

The criminal illegals should replace law enforcement,
and Congress, itself.

The latter would be an improvement. [ /s ..is this necessary]

How about illegal aliens practicing medicine.

How about illegal aliens performing surgical lobotomies on liberals? Liberals are already psychologically lobotomized on this subject, why not complete the process with an actual cut? With a surgical knife in the hands of one of their precious illegals?

Why not? It makes as much sense as giving the the right to vote and attorney courtroom recognition.

Of course they will also need free tuition and the spots of some citizens applying to law school.

Idiots. The only “law” they’ll be practicing is defense “attorneys” for the border jumping illegal aliens where the liberal activist, sometimes Hispanic, “judges” roll over for them and carry them through the proceedings. “Courts” where U.S. taxpayers get the shaft and the illegal alien freeloaders “win” EVERYTIME! This is a joke and the joke is on the American people.

Illegals should be removed from the USA, they are lawbreakers and should not even be given a license to practice law.

RE:”New York, California Moving to Permit Illegal Aliens to Practice Law?”

This is exactly why I don't trust the popular vote coming from those two states.

There is no reason to believe that they do anything to stop illegals from voting, they believe in illegals voting and they have no safeguards against it.

Not sure my state is any better but at least illegals are not practicing law yet

"How about illegal aliens practicing medicine.

Shhhhhh, don't even think that!

"Illegal Immigrants Can Now Defend the Laws They Break," and whine and cry for Sharia Law instead of the United States jurisprudence. A few years back, Mexican lawyers promised to clog our courts so badly they, i.e., courts, would not be able function.

Just another millimeter additional slide into the libtard cesspool. NYC has already done that with their city schools, which are a joke. The diplomas from those libtard showcases (read: failing cesspools) are not worth the paper wasted to print them. All this a result of constantly lowering the standards until any entity which could fog up a mirror could fulfill the "standards". Now these sanctuary cities (read: thieves of taxpayer money) have apparently decided that citizenship is meaningless and the right to practice law and medicine, two of the most highly regulated professions existing, can now be carried on by illegal criminals.

Pure LAWLESSNESS and demonstrating a profound contempt for U.S. law.

They only do the jobs Americans won’t do.

So what happens if your lawyer gets deported on the eve of trial?

In sane states no one is admitted to the bar if they have major crimes.
