Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D., Mass.), one of the Senate's fiercest Wall Street critics, attended a Democratic donor retreat over the weekend hosted by former UBS bank executive Robert Wolf, who last year lashed out against politicians that target Wall Street for political gain.

Wolf hosted Warren as part of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee's annual donor retreat in Martha's Vineyard. He wrote on Twitter that he was "honored" to host Warren, who was joined by other Democratic senators at the fundraiser.

Wolf, a financial backer and friend of former President Barack Obama, a Clinton Foundation donor, and a co-chair for the 2016 Democratic National Convention, has in the past portrayed Warren as a radical and denounced her treatment of Wall Street.

2012 report on swamp creature:
Robert Wolf, who is the UBS chairman for the Americas, is leaving at the end of the month to set up his own advisory shop. He will retain close ties to UBS, which will be the first client of his firm.
A 28-year veteran of Wall Street, Mr. Wolf has enjoyed his status as a prominent defender of the Obama administration and a top-ranking fund-raiser. He has garnered more than $500,000 to re-elect the president this year, and regularly plays golf and vacations with Mr. Obama on Martha’s Vineyard.
In his day job as a top banker at UBS, the Swiss bank, Mr. Wolf has built his business on relationships, relying on contacts spanning Wall Street and Washington. A former bond trader, he rose through the ranks at Salomon Brothers and later ran the UBS fixed-income desk.

This illustrates the #1 problem with our political system.

I would like to see in this order
1-NO Corporate or Union donations to campaigns
2-No PACs
3-Term Limits

Running & re-running for office to get and maintain political power is so expensive that the little guy like me that donates $25-$100 to a campaign becomes noise. The career politician goes for the big donors and they then get big sway and influence. Not me & you which was what the system was supposed to do.

Or we could require that Congressmen and Senators dress at all times like NASCAR drivers; they have to wear the logos of the organizations that “sponsor” them. We have a right to know who really owns our representatives.

The big banks want to see the little banks and credit unions regulated out of business. Warren is just the one to do it.

Stinky old grey squaw beaver doesn’t attract the young braves like fresh, young squaw-from-the-land-of-the-setting-sun beaver.
