Oh crap. He’ll lose the purist Freepers.
LOL!
She got booted off FR more than once during the primaries for failing to understand that President Trump is Neo...
Not giving a damn who we elect so long as they have an R behind their name is what has given us the McConnells and McCains, and Grahams, and Flakes of the world. That may be fine with you. It isn't for me.
I’ll take him over Stabenow 366 days of the year.
If that were the only choice. But wouldn't it be better to vote for a conservative?
You need to be pro-abortion, pro-legalize drugs, and pro-gay marriage to win an election? Should the GOP change its platform so they agree with the Dems on those issues?
Stabmenow vs KidRock. <<
Well, good thing for him primary elections are so passé now so GOP voters are forced to have a pro-abortion nominee the instant Kid announces he's running.
Abortion is pretty far down the bottom of the list of issues I lose sleep over. For that matter, so is gay marriage. Legalize drugs? Sure. Why not. The alternative has been a dismal failure.
As far as platforms are concerned, one is either in board with President Trump or they are establishment. Kid Rock is on the same team as I am.
Interesting thing about that, Justin Amash remains one of the most outspoken NeverTrumper Republican in Congress today, and I have yet to see the "anti-establishment Tea Party" groups turn against him. Last time a decent conservative tried to challenge him, they rallied behind loose cannon Amash and screamed "GOPE!! GOPE!! GOPE!!" at any Republican who questioned Amash's habit of voting with Nancy Pelosi for "constitutional" reasons.
Who else is running? I want someone who can win.
Priority ONE is to take out Stabenow.
Lena Epstein, who ran Trump's campaign in Michigan. John Young, retired state Supreme Court justice. A businessman named John James. And Rock.
I want someone who can win.
I would like to see a conservative in the seat. Voting for anyone just because they have an R behind their name on the ballot is what has gotten us prizes like McConnell and McCain and Collins and Graham.
Stabenow has got to go.
ANY Republican would help with SCOTUS.
No disagreement there.
ANY Republican would help with SCOTUS.
True. But a conservative Republican could help in other legislative areas as well.
