Thanks, I saw that. The CBS article does not have as much information. But now I see that there are several more news outlets carrying the story, each with a slightly different slant.

I’ve read elsewhere the Natalia lady doesn’t speak any English and that took a translator with her everywhere. She came with a team. 3 including herself.
Don Trump Jr had read “Clinton Cash” by Schweitzer, so with millions of us he’d be interested in verification of that Russian quid pro quo relationship that Hillary had with Russia.
Everyone should read Clinton Cash. The accusation against Hillary was already on the street and in the media.
Don Jr has the money to fund a documentary on it to go to all of Anerica via internet.

So many people at meeting watching Don Jr. it is hard to imagine that Don Jr. did anything wrong with all those potential witnesses.
That a well-connected high-end Russian translator would be hired by a Russian lawyer/lobbyist lawyer who claimed to have poor English language skills isn’t odd of itself.
The part about him having worked for Hillary directly is interesting. What is the evidence for that?
The real story here is who provided Trump, Jr’s emails to the NYT? How can the same people who cry havoc about Russian “hacking” of DNC emails, exploit someone else’s stolen private emails without choking on hypocrisy?
Is there anyone in the establishment who didn't know who the players were, except for the Trumps?
And yet, they all stand aside, shocked at what happened, apparently with a knowing wink.

The better question is, “Was there anybody meeting with Trump Jr. who wasn’t paid by Hillary Clinton?”
It appears that everyone mentioned in the Goldstone email, including Goldstone, was at the meeting. Which usually means someone is looking for clarification of Goldstone’s wording, and gets everyone in the room at the same time for that purpose.
The press either knew all attendees from the start, and dragged it out intentionally to create drama, or, they had crappy leakers and they are blaming their lack of leakers on Don Jr for not being ‘forthcoming’ and labeling him as a ‘liar’. The Russian ‘chief investigator’ info was passed around to congresscritters prior to the meeting as part of an organized lobbying effort and had to do with the Magnitsky issue. Rohrabacher and others were given the same ‘chief investigator’ stuff, but the press ignores it because it doesn’t fit their Trash the Trumps at All Costs story line. When Don Jr is a party, then the ‘chief investigator’ stuff becomes spycraft.
The question the press refuses to ask is, who suggested to Veselinskaya to go to Emin to go to Goldstone to get a meeting with Trump, Jr., when Dellums was escorting Veselinskaya through the halls of congress for months introducing her around and could have personally contacted Don Jr., himself.
