In a sordid new sex scandal, Vatican police raided the apartment of a 50-year-old priest, breaking up a gay orgy fueled by drugs and alcohol.

During last week’s blitz, Msgr. Luigi Capozzi, assistant to Cardinal Francesco Coccopalmerio of the Pontifical Council for Legislative Texts, was arrested by the Vatican gendarmerie and sent briefly to a Roman clinic for drug detox. The priest, a native of Salerno, is currently on retreat at an unspecified convent in Italy.

Capozzi’s apartment where the raid took place is in the palace of the Sant’Uffizio within the Vatican City, where a number of high-ranking prelates have lived, including then-Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger before being elected Pope.

>>“ardent supporter of Pope Francis.”

There is nothing new under the Aten.

https://duckduckgo.com/?q=Akhenaten+Sexuality

He/She/It tried to replace traditional Egyptian polytheism with a monotheistic system worshiping the Sun/Aten — with His/Her/Itself as the intercessor between the sheeple and the Aten.

The eunuch authorities who constituted the religious caste of the polytheistic system were evidently not amused - when they scratched Akhenaten off the history slabs, and shortly returned to doing bidness as usual.

I’m surprised that Mr. Bergoglio wasn’t at the party, too. I mean he’s so tolerant and non-judgmental, right?

I am sure this must go on everywhere in this new Pope church. I also think it has been going on for decades.

“gay orgy fueled by drugs and alcohol...”

I don’t know all that much about gay orgies, but I’m thinking every gay orgy involves drugs and alcohol.

Hhhuuummmm, well imagine that, while the Pope was busy sticking his nose in the business of the United States of America, he had a nice little scandal brewing right underneath his nose...Well, go figure.

Hey Pope — Matthew 7:3-5

3 “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4 How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

Not at all. They're doing exactly what Luther preached.

They interpret the Bible on their own to suit themselves or throw out portions of it they don't want to have to accept. It's a case of Catholic clergy fully adopting the very attitudes and approaches Leo XIII warned against back in 1898.

Sending the fag “priest” to a convent was pretty smart. The nuns should at least be safe from the perv.

“Convent” simply means a religious residence from which the priests, brothers or sisters can come and go if they are involved in an active ministry, such as teaching. It can be either male or female; Franciscan religious houses for either sex are known as “convents,” so this was a male house.

“Monasteries” are religious houses that are cloistered, that is, where the monks or nuns never or rarely leave the enclosure. Again, a monastery can be male or female.

That said, these supposed “therapy programs” run by the Franciscans or other orders are a joke. Probably most of the homosexual pedophiles among the clergy were sent to them at one time or another, and it did no good. In fact, it made it worse, because the bishop felt that he had done his bit by sending them away - and now they were safe to work with kids again. Of course, they weren’t.
