Mr. Khadr was captured in Afghanistan at the age of 15 in 2002, following a shootout with U.S. troops where he was badly wounded – blinded by shrapnel in one eye and with fist-sized exit wounds in his shoulder and chest.

He was accused of throwing a grenade that killed U.S. army medic Christopher Speer in the firefight and was sent to the U.S. detention facility in Guantanamo Bay.

I was watching some youtube videos about fighter planes in Europe. After they were done protecting the bombers they could go after things at will - railcars, trucks, etc.

There was one clip of a horse-drawn wagon of hay. The old-timer said “So the Germans would use women and children to take the wagon with their supplies hidden. They were okay as targets - anything on the road was.”

The clip continues and the wagon is hit - with a secondary explosion.
