And yet... we can still give the devil so much airtime that the more initially subtle, yet ultimately more powerful love of God has a problem getting airtime in our minds.
We concentrate so much on what we hate that little attention is left for what deserves loving.
Let’s ask why we should hoot about blessed marriage and the ultimate claims it makes even upon the single, as prospective but not yet active participants.

I agree. I think it is true that the contemporary sexual revolution is essentially a re-normalization of ancient pagan sexual norms. But the advocates of the sexual revolution don’t realize or acknowledge this, partly because they don’t know enough history and partly because they don’t want to face the kinds of societies that are produced by complete sexual license, which quickly becomes predatory and exploitative. All modern religions have accepted the lessons of tens of thousands of years of learning how sex and property must be united in marriage to permit civilization.
Those that consider them selves progressive are hell bent to discard the lessons of millennia that allowed societies to grow and prosper.
The lesson that is now forgotten is that the progressives must be exterminated, that is, killed off. Should they prevail society will be destroyed.
It boils down to kill or be killed

And the oathing ceremony ...
They love rebellion. It gives them a thrill. That thrill will catapult them right into hell, if they don’t repent. Besides being born of filth, being rottenly disgusting and utterly destructive, it just isn’t worth an eternity in a lake of fire.
