Not according to genealogists. Records show the first people with the Andriessen surname came to this country came from Germany and Denmark. Some may be Armenian as well at this point but Germany/Denmark is considered the origin of the name.

At 1/10 the normal speed.
How many ethnic Danes or Germans are named Aramazd Andressian?
Answer: None.
Armenian name.
I like your suggestion.
Any surname with the endings -ian, -yan, or -jan is likely Armenian. There are lots of people of Armenian ancestry in southern California.
I say a wood chipper - ONE appendage at a time. Toes first, then fingers...
Andriessen sounds like a Danish last name. Sen is used in Denmark and other nordic countries, Son is more common in Germany and England. The name that was in the article was Andressian. That is an Armenian name. Was the article wrong on the name?
“Father”. Bullshit. Sperm donor at best. I hope he rots in supermax and gets his just deserts.
I have no idea who is right or wrong, genealogy researchers claim both spellings are Danish and German in origin. That does not mean there are not now people with that surname in Armenia- that have been there several generations and are now Armenian.
Looks like an Armenian name.
