Andriessen sounds like a Danish last name. Sen is used in Denmark and other nordic countries, Son is more common in Germany and England. The name that was in the article was Andressian. That is an Armenian name. Was the article wrong on the name?

I have no idea who is right or wrong, genealogy researchers claim both spellings are Danish and German in origin. That does not mean there are not now people with that surname in Armenia- that have been there several generations and are now Armenian.
