If you ask Orlando Lopez, getting deported was the best thing that ever happened to him.
His parents had brought him to the United States when he was just three years old, hoping to offer him a better life. But by the time he was a teenager, Lopez's future was looking bleak.
Lopez recalls that he was a good student at his Fort Worth, Texas high school. But he says he was also a wannabe gangster who ended up serving seven years behind bars. He earned his GED while incarcerated.

The damn media and their penchant for the weird and/or bizarre. The media rarely reports how terribly these Mexican and other Hispanic kids do in our schools as they never learn English. If they cannot do so, how do they learn any other subjects? In fact, many Hispanic family’s in their third and even 4th generation in America often cannot read and write English proficiently. Why? I submit that they speak Spanish at home all or most of the time, watch TV in Spanish, plus they can press 1 or 2 . They have little if any incentive as we allow generation after generation on welfare plus other handouts. So many work cash only as labor for another Mexican subcontractor like roofing and drywall. It is time to limit one generation to welfare. In fact we should say NO WELFARE or MEDICAL FOR ILLEGALS/FOREIGNERS UNLESS THEY PAY. NO HANDOUTS PERIOD TO ANYONE. Each city has a rescue mission and charities. Tell me what other country Americans can get handouts and free medical in?

In our Central Texas town, the school taxes are killing us because 67% of our public school students are Mexican children, most the children of illegals. We certainly do not see any reduction in their population here.
Also should have added that now these children are allowed to speak Spanish in school, so they don’t have to learn English as other generations of Mexicans did. This is not helping them up the ladder in America and sentences many of them to life in the barrios.
It’s a tear jerker video to get people angry at President Trump.
The funny thing is her father was deported under Obama.
Anyhow, President Trump’s policy would help accelerate families to U.S. Citizenship, by cutting out the bureaucracy, for law abiding and productive illeagal immigrants. Although they have to get back in line.
President’s Trump main aim is at the criminal illegal immigrants. That’s his main target and not the families as CNN is trying to imply.
CNN does not show that part. Hence, why they are the least trusted name in news.

When I was little I hung out with my family and family friends which were all Democrats.
At the time they believed allowing immigration on top of stealing American jobs was racist because America took people from countries that would have improved those countries if they stayed there.
It was a form of blame America, but blame them for stealing people.
I haven’t heard this left wing logic for 30 years.
