How about Session creates a Prosecutor to look into Russian Hacking and interference including Trump thing IN PARALLEL to the other slow moving money draining sketchy biased Mueller council. Trump can be like You know this is taking very long, and I want to make double sure that this is taken care of. This would be a more pro Trump prosecutor to look into the issue. This would be fair. They can after a short period of time exchange information. Trump cant get rid of the current prosecutor (or feels enough pressure not to). Well, this may be a solution to finding out what is up and ending this whole thing a lot faster and fairer.
I agree that something has to be done - Mueller is so going to make things up.
IMO a special counsel to investigate Mueller’s team would be best. Similar to your idea but with a focus on activities of Mueller’s team instead of muh russia.
There is the underlying current of obstruction by Mueller’s team intended to mask previous crimes. I’d like that to be stopped. And, if Mueller’s team does nothing wrong, I’m fine with them. My worry is that they’re a)ginning up charges to bring down and administration and b)covering up crimes done by political allies from the last political administration.
Yeah, an independent counsel charged with investigating Mueller’s independent counsel. Who on the left will object? We just need to investigate....
How about firing Mueller and hiring someone competent to go after Hillary, Holder, Obama, Jarrett, Wasserman, Brazille, Biden, etc?
How about, “Mueller, you’re fired and take all of your hires with you.” What are the Democrats and media going to do? Call everyone on the left who said there was no collusion liars? That validates why Trump fired Comey.
Then you float a bill stating that all Justice Department candidates must be non partisan and not affiliated with the executive branch in any way. Put the rats on record.
How about Sessions starts acting like he’s the Attorney General of the United States? That’d be a good start.
Mueller and his crew are dirty and highly conflicted.
Just another batch of crooked lawyers.
Well there’s a terrible idea. More freaking special councils. Really the right way to handle this is to let it play out. There’s nothing better than having a declared enemy find nothing.
I know all about special councils, they don’t play well with the voters, but screwing with them plays worse. Clinton showed how to handle a special council: ignore him, go about your administration, and understand when the math is in your favor. The fact of the matter is Trump will not get impeached no matter what, the dems won’t have the numbers until 2023 at the earliest, and that’s just enough for impeachment not conviction. Leaving the special prosecutor alone is the smart move, screwing with him is the Nixon move.
He’s wrong. They won’t. They learned from Clinton, party is more important than morality. Doesn’t matter what Trump did, he’s the R after his name and they don’t feel like losing their second president to impeachment in 50 years.
Rush is wrong. Their party is the GOP. They don’t have any beliefs, but their first loyalty is always to the party. That’s part of the problem, they’re more interested in the party than the country. And they’ll keep the establishment just fine without impeaching Trump, he’s done pretty much everything he can without getting laws through Congress, and so far he’s shown no signs of getting things even on the floor much less passed.
Agreed.
But Mueller's team will fabricate to both take down the administration and to cover up previous crimes by 0bama, holder, clinton, rice, comey, IRS, etc.
I don't want to screw with Mueller's team. I want to make sure they know they won't be able to conjure up or destroy evidence. Their investigation is to be valued _provided it has integrity_. I don't think it does. Hence my desire to have it observed by an untainted 3rd party.
Nevertheless, I see your point that hopes for an honest investigation.
Let them fabricate, they’d need proof to accomplish anything, and even then, the GOP will hold the line and not impeach.
