I know all about special councils, they don’t play well with the voters, but screwing with them plays worse. Clinton showed how to handle a special council: ignore him, go about your administration, and understand when the math is in your favor. The fact of the matter is Trump will not get impeached no matter what, the dems won’t have the numbers until 2023 at the earliest, and that’s just enough for impeachment not conviction. Leaving the special prosecutor alone is the smart move, screwing with him is the Nixon move.
I don't want to screw with Mueller's team. I want to make sure they know they won't be able to conjure up or destroy evidence. Their investigation is to be valued _provided it has integrity_. I don't think it does. Hence my desire to have it observed by an untainted 3rd party.
Nevertheless, I see your point that hopes for an honest investigation.
