The shooter is suspected to be James T. Hodgkinson, who posted anti-Trump and anti-Republican content on his Facebook page. Representative Jeff Duncan of South Carolina told BuzzFeed News that he heard the suspected shooter ask if those practicing baseball were Democrats or Republicans.

Rep. Williams from Texas on live know saying that he doesn't think that it was a Democrat Republican thing.
