As I recall, another scam was this: As a part of a bank examiner’s report, a bank had to show that they were “community minded”. One way was to make loans to people who couldn’t afford it; another way was to donate money to ACORN. So the big banks were supporting ACORN to avoid trouble with the bank examiners.
The entire Obama Administration was one huge criminal enterprise. They all ought to be in jail.

Bingo. It is not enough to stop things like this. The details of what went on must be exposed.
I think the DOJ should go back to those settlements that unjustly enriched unrelated third-party non profits who received settlement proceeds and disgorge those funds. Penalties agreed to by banks and other corporations should have gone to the US Treasury only. Obama’s regime was a regulatory extortion racket.
