This, and many other things that Sessions has been doing, flies in the face of the less intelligent & less informed FReepers who want to get rid of Sessions. Those gullible FReepers fall for the never ending series of FAKE NEWS items run by the main stream media saying Trump hates Sessions.

I've expressed several times that AG Sessions did the correct thing recusing himself from the Russia fantasies. By doing that, he isn't wasting his time on all the hearings, questions, etc. And he's using his time well. Quietly, out of the spotlight, AG Sessions is actually accomplishing important things that are part of the Deplorable agenda.

I get very upset about calls that AG Sessions should step down. Throughout the campaign, it was obvious that Trump was at his very best when Sessions was there to mentor him. The presidency didn't start out as well as we'd have liked. That's probably why the coup slow-walked Sessions confirmation. The longer he wasn't confirmed, the more opportunity to undermine the new administration.

Personally I think Sessions is doing a great job as far as he can do with immigration and the President’s policy. The DOJ does need so more swamp draining.
