Fortune magazine reports that advertisers are being pressured by left-wing groups to drop their advertising on Sean Hannity's Fox News program, and at least five have complied with that campaign. But the obvious odd bird on that list is USAA, founded by Army veterans almost 100 years ago. This company's brand is all about support for veterans....and they're turning on Sean Hannity?
For years, Hannity has donated his time and his celebrity to promoting "Freedom Concerts" to raise money for the Freedom Alliance, which gives scholarships to the children of slain soldiers. Is that really the way the USAA demonstrates its support for veterans?
In a Twitter response to a series of USAA members on Wednesday night, the company's @USAA_help account tweeted: "Thank you for reaching out to us. Advertising on opinion shows is not in accordance with our policy and weve since corrected it." That's fascinating, since even last night, USAA advertised on Hardball on MSNBC, and how does the Chris Matthews record on helping military families match next to Hannity's?

Bad Show, USAA
I called today. 27 years with them and I told them I was getting quotes elsewhere. I told them I was not cancelling YET, but seriously considering doing so.
They will not stop until they are all dead...................
Wow. My husband and I are members too and I’ll be calling today
Click on visitors comments. USAA is taking a well deserved butt chewing.
I emailed back and forth with USAA when they were advertising on SF 49ers games during Colin Kaepernick’s stunts. They told me clearly they would keep advertising there which they did. I am beginning to wonder about this company.
30 years with them but have been considering changing for a while. Quit using them for mortgages and car loans a while back; their service was terrible and their rates uncompetitive.
Sean tweeted “uh-oh, my memorial day weekend starts NOW. Did Hannity just do his last show?”.
Employees are hired to work for the owners of the company.
USAA has forgotten that.
I know that a lot of their employees are also members, but the majority of their owners don’t work for USAA.
USAA built a theme park in San Antonio. Was that for the members or the employees?
USAA built a retirement community in San Antonio. Was that for the members or the employees?
I purchased a mortgage from USAA. Next thing I know, PHH owns my mortgage. USAA acts like they don’t have any idea how that happened. And PHH is not a good company to work with. And now, USAA is advertising to sell mortgages again?
USAA has been on the decline for quite some time.
Their employees are more important than their owners.
That never works out.
I couldn’t find it. Maybe because I’m not a FB member.
Hope they don’t advertise on any news broadcasts of the MSM or CNN, because those are all now, just “opinion” shows.
Bears repeating.
I concur.
I’m well past tired of the Left and their witch hunt tactics.
The Resistance (Soros, Hussein and Clinton) are gathering forces and designating targets. “Disappointing” is putting it mildly. I’m running out of words to express my contempt.
Make your calls
I recall that they are on my mental list of companies to boycott.
Unfortunately I can’t remember why. Still they are on my list.
USAA should have the guts to stand up to this enemy of America....our military has just been given the middle finger. Call them and call Fox News to stand up to this great threat to our Constitution....this is the Enemy Within, make no mistake about it....
Bump for later action....
Probably so. I can tell you that the reader/subscriber comments are overwhelming against USAA’s bad decision. Frankly, I’m surprised they haven’t pulled their FB page or turned off comments.
I’ve noticed that too. We have been with USAA for 42 years. They used to have the best insurance rates and best service around for officers, then all military, hands down - Then the corporate mentality took over big time sometime in the early nineties and they have gradually succumbed to selling their insurance and mortgage services to sub-standard third party companies in order to save money for the corporate bottom line. The original intent and business model that USAA was founded on has long since left the building.
