DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - A woman says she was carjacked and dragged beneath her car this week in DeKalb County.
The woman was vacuuming out her car Wednesday around 5 p.m. at a car wash on Memorial Drive in Stone Mountain when she said two teenagers kicked her out.
“The guy in the back, he started kicking me in the face to kick me out of the car,” said the victim, who did not want to be identified.
Surveillance video shows the suspects driving away with the woman beneath the car.
She said her head was nearly run over, but moved just in time.
With grace I had enough instinct to roll over and get out of the way,” the woman said. “My head probably would have been smushed under the tire.”
The victim called her boyfriend from inside the car wash and he spotted her car on his way to come get her. He called police who found the suspects after a short chase.
According to the police report, the teens said they took the car because “they were tired of walking.” DeKalb police said the suspects are 15 and 16 years old.
The woman is badly bruised from the incident.
“I got caught under the car, they dragged me, and so I got a lot of road rash, and bruises on the right side from where the car hit me,” she said.
The victim faces six months of recovery from her injuries, but said she knows it could have been worse.
“I could have been gone that day,” she said.

No pics of the perps, so my guess is that they are both Black.
That’s a pretty good guess I’d say.
Some people are uncivilized savages. They are feral. they are unfit to live in civilized society.
How did we sink to this point? I often wonder. Many don’t have fathers. But, you would hope they get civilzing influences somewhere. School, for example??? For some, church?? Even if fatherless, do the mothers do anything to civilize these boys??

I can imagine some liberal ignoramus would say, well, this crime is due to not having proper public transportation infrastructure. Poor bus service caused these boys to have to walk such long distances.

Here’s how “teenagers” works. If the perp is non-White, and aged 13 - 19, he’s a teen. This is so you have sympathy for the perp and think he’s just a child. 18 is legally adult.

About 10-12 years ago, my wife and I were at a party. One of the people we met there was a nice older lady from Europe. A few weeks after that party, I saw the lady on the news after she had been killed while vacuuming her car at one of those car washes in Houston. I guess the only way to use one safely is to have an armed accomplice standing guard. The only car wash places I go to now are the ones where I stay inside while Mexicans do all the work.
Some of us who were more privileged had bikes - which we delivered newspapers and collected empty soda bottles to buy. Sometimes we got them for Christmas, but we had to work to keep them in repair ;-)

It said the word “Teen”, right in the headline.
These 'teens' likely grew up in a situation where everybody around them stayed home all day, without going to work - mom, dad (if he's there), grandparents, other adults in the neighborhood - their 'normal' is to watch them lounge around all day.
And also, there has been a 'normalization' of criminal activity. Some in the neighborhood may be on fake disability...no big deal. Others may sell drugs...be hey they've got money. Etc Etc. Gone are the days where stealing makes one a pariah...as long as the victim is faceless.
There is another component here that some don't even believe, but I have heard it come out of people's mouths. There is an attitude in the black minority community that, since they put in a few hundred years as slaves, they shouldn't have to work now. Further, to be a working, productive member of society, if one is black, makes him at worst an 'Uncle Tom', but at best a 'chump' who is allowing himself to be abused by whites. I have witnessed black elementary school teachers express this philosophy. So, from an early age, kids get a 'vibe' from adults that working for a living is just plain stupid. Anyway, those have been my (sad) observations. Obviously, some break free of the cycle, but the cycle remains - mostly self imposed.

I live in S. CA. They frown on people washing their Cars in their driveways due to the drought and the runoff going into the Flood Control Channels that feed into the Ocean.
I just started using a local Self Serve Carwash. No problems there, it’s in a nice location on South Orange County. It also costs me about $3 dollars which is the same amount I used to tip the Carwash guys. Saves me big money.
I used to go to a nice Touchless Carwash, but after I put my “TRUMP 45” Vanity License Plates on the Car my Wife suggested that it wouldn’t be a good idea anymore. #;^)

Worked with young man that changed from presentable work clothes to a ghetto outfit everyday before going home.
He rode different bus routes and at different times...
If they knew he had a job he would be robbed.
