Please clarify so I don’t get the wrong impression: you think women who don’t put out on a date are lucky they don’t get beaten? Or did I misunderstand your words?
My question is, if a man who identifies as a woman takes out a woman who identifies as a man, who gets to pay? Who gets accused of rape if one decides that she/he/it/ didn’t like it?

I’m thinking that may have been his whole point (and I tend to agree with him to a certain point). Not so much wanting the $17.31 from the woman, but the publicity around the entire thing. (Who called Inside Edition I wonder??)
My wife can’t wait to see Guardians. I don’t care to see it, but will probably go and enjoy it with her.
The texting to make sure a friend is safe on a blind date is a good idea. But I would think a quick response of “Fine” would suffice - along with an explanation of “Oh - my friend said she was going to check up on me a few times seeing as it is a blind date and all - silly huh!?” (Hmm - how about code words for different levels of bad stuff? “Great” would mean “send my brother over to get me.” “Fabulous” would be “call 911 and have them track my cell phone!”)
For a real woman trying to find a real man these days the pickings are pretty slim.
