FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. North Carolina police say they're investigating the possible suicide of an Army veteran charged with shooting her service dog as she laughed.
Fayetteville Police Lt. Todd Joyce said Sunday investigators believe that 23-year-old Marinna Rollins killed herself. Joyce declined to explain what evidence detectives found. He says police were called to her apartment early Sunday after her body was found by friends.
Rollins and 25-year-old Jarren Heng were charged last month with cruelty to animals after investigators say they tied the dog to a tree and shot it multiple times with a rifle.

Chick was nuts. Glad she killed herself before killing someone else. Anyone who shoots a dog to pieces with a rifle while laughing about it is a total mental case.

Something truly evil about such an act. I’ve owned dogs all of my life; they are helpless when confronted with human cruelty.

The PhD shrink, (Army Colonel,) who said I was okay was obviously nuts.

Clearly killing a dog like that is bad.I wonder if she was assigned to Iraq/Afghanistan.If so it's possible she had some kind of PTSD given these two acts.

That’s the question I have. They can’t tell that someone just might be mental during the processing? Are we going to have to worry about these animals falling into the hands of a nut job to be killed or maimed now? I sure hope not....
