Late night talk show host Stephen Colbert's controversial joke about President Trump drew the attention of the Federal Communications Commission. The agency received "a number" of complaints about Colbert's commentary earlier in the week, according to the FCC's chief. FCC Chairman Ajit Pai promised to "take the appropriate action" following a comprehensive investigation of Colbert's remarks. The FCC's response will depend on whether Colbert's remarks are considered "obscene."

Colberts a hero now among the Rats and the snowflakes. If he gets a fine the network will pay it give him a raise. Meanwhile the network refuses to run an ad Trump wants to run about his first 100 days.

The way he made a joke about cancer research was enough for me. Too many family and friends have suffered and have lost to that disease. He needs to go.

The government should not censure speech.
The fact that our outrage over this is ignored shows the massive double standard in this country. No jokes about bammy were allowed. This problem is serious and deeply rooted and isn’t going away.

That’s the answer,but the thing that REALLY gets me is that if a comedian had said any of this about Obama they would have been pilloried.
The double standard in this country is mind-boggling.
I was just reading about UC Santa Cruz giving in to the demands of the black students. Astonishing. Can you imagine if a group of white students made the same demands?
