Why does Mark assume that Americans are happy with Obamacare? I had to join Christian Healthcare because my “Exchange” raised my premiums to $4,000 a month. First we laughed, then we cried.

Wow, we’re paying $2,000 a Month for two Adults, early 60’s.
Not through an Exchange, through the Company I Retired from.
I thought I held the record here.

I’m very lucky: I’m pretty healthy so I haven’t used it. I pay $150 a month for the gold. A good friend recommended it and she’s a smart cookie. You pay upfront and are then reimbursed. $500 deductible.

My father’s company paid for all of my mother’s endless procedures (as well as Medicare) and he paid nothing into the system. He died in 2008 and she died last year. Both were 90 years old. The baby boomers are really getting hit with it, though, lol!
