Love it!
Assemblies of God also has Royal Rangers and the girls have an alternative, too.
Winning.
Belligerent lesbians.
No the Girl Scouts are secular, not religion affiliated and troops are not chartered like the Boy Scouts
That being said if a parish wants to charter a Christian girl group , that is their right and choice
As the mother of two girl scouts in Catholic school, I can say I’m fairly certain that the girl scout organization is a bunch of shrieking liberals but it never trickles down to the troops bc our leaders have full control of the troop. Having said that, I’d be delighted to switch over to the American Heritage girls.
WOW. Excellent.
Good. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Pope excommunicates him.
I no longer by them.....
Girl Scout Cookies = exploitation of child labor.
The GS were lost to the left decades ago.
Good.
Eagle Scout here from 1992. I’m increasingly praying for more churches to disassociate from the Boy Scouts. It may be the only way for that organization to get knocked to its senses.
Even if the local troop is morally untainted, part of their dues goes to headquarters and subsidizes a corrupt leadership.
So if the local troop is good, they should disaffiliate with GSA and, if desired, sign up with a non-leftist alternative. You can google these:
American Heritage Girls
Pathfinders
Awana (Evangelical)
Keepers of the Faith
Frontier Girls
Reality check - the Girl Scouts have become nothing more than a cookie sales force enslaved to a National Organization full of "progressive" ideology, six figure salaries, luxury offices and grand retirement payouts.
High five!
The biggest issue for groups like the American Heritage Girls is fundraising. They need a means to raise money not dependent on intermittent donations.
It should be noted that the GSA business model for this is a good one, and has worked for them for a century now.
“Girl Scout cookies are made by large national commercial bakeries under license from Girl Scouts of the USA. The bakers licensed by the organization may change from year to year, though this is not common. In 2008 the licensed companies were Little Brownie Bakers (LBB), a subsidiary of Keebler, which is owned by Kellogg’s; and ABC Bakers, a subsidiary of Interbake Foods, which is owned by George Weston Limited.”
So the question becomes, what can the AHG license and sell that is produced by Christian businesses? There are a lot of conservative businesses out there who would be glad to support them.
Since they also have a strong emphasis on patriotism, this could include flag and veteran oriented products.
Bttt.

I quit supporting GSs years ago when they started promoting abortion.
