The GOP wants those courts so it can hide behind their legislating from the bench while they do nothing.

A long long enduring serious problem. Lawyers laugh at the 9th circuit.... call it “the commie court of last resort” because of its extreme leftist and doctrinaire decisions
no chance at fair justice in the 9th.
(even the commie lawyers will acknowledge this at least in private as they all run to file there, of course)
ALSO the 9th covers Way WAY Too much territory.....far out of proportion. THIS ALONE IS EXCELLENT REASON TO SPLIT THE 9th!~

we could have another court- the 9 1/2 district court made up of ultra conservatives who immediately overturn everything the 9’th circuit court rules on

Even more than what you said, they can get the results they want while attacking the makers of those results to fool the idiots who elect them.

The first thing President Trump should do is make the four outstanding appointments to the Ninth Circuit. And he should break with “tradition” and make the appointments himself rather than taking whomever the two worthless US Senators want.
