Hmmm. Would this one be ripe for the SCOTUS to take up?

They violate the First, calling speech a hate crime.
Then violate the Second, saying that prohibits guns.
Better get ready for soldiers in your home.

The left is attempting to criminalize everything they are against.
This is part of the ongoing effort to legislate from the bench and the shadow government.
They are very close to doing so.
It will make no difference whether they are in power or not anymore.

“A state legislator from Manhattan has introduced a bill that would nullify gun rights from those convicted of hate crimes, even those involving nonviolent, misdemeanor offenses”. So no NY Democrats will have guns?

next move: Christian churches are hate groups
next: church members are guilty of a hate conspiracy
next: Christians lose their guns

My right to self defense and gun ownership comes from God not from the state, so I feel no obligation to obey any law or court order to turn in my guns. and regardless, they can’t take what they don’t know I own....

So calling a ttransgendered individual “he” instead of “ze” gets your firearms rights nullified. We’ll be South Africa soon if we let this get in.

A state legislator from Manhattan has introduced a bill that would nullify gun rights from those convicted of hate crimes, even those involving nonviolent, misdemeanor offenses.Like threatening violence against exercising First Amendment rights?
Who defines hate crimes? I think snowflakes are walking hate crimes.
Above all else, actual physical hate crimes trump imaginary ones without question.
Do we really need Supreme Court decision to confirm that?

We predicted this would happen more than a decade ago when "hate crime" legislation first appeared. It's part of the word definition game liberals love to play. Clinton didn't have inappropriate sexual relations because he redefined a word. The liberals are busy defining "hate crime" to mean anything that opposes their marxist agenda. They will keep pushing until there is blood on the soil watering the tree of liberty -- that prediction has already been made years ago too.

The FBI defines a hate crime as a criminal offense against a person or property motivated in whole or in part by an offenders bias against a race, religion, disability, sexual orientation, ethnicity, gender, or gender identity. By what authority does the FBI get to define a crime? The definition of a crime should be in the law.
