Judge Who Blocked Trump’s Sanctuary City Order Raised $200,000 for Obama

The California judge who blocked President Trump’s executive order seeking to withhold federal funds from “sanctuary cities” reportedly raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for former President Barack Obama, donor records show.

U.S. District Judge William Orrick III, of the Northern District of California, ruled against the Trump administration after the city of San Francisco and county of Santa Clara sued over the president’s plan to withhold federal funding from cities or counties that harbor illegal aliens, Fox News reported.

Judge Orrick said that Trump’s order targeted broad categories of federal funding for sanctuary governments, and that plaintiffs challenging the order were likely to succeed in proving it unconstitutional.

Orrick’s decision will block Trump’s executive order for now, while the federal lawsuit makes its way through the courts.

The judge not only raised $200,000 for Obama in 2008, but he also raised $30,000 to committees supporting the former president that year.

Why isn’t this judicial misbehavior that qualifies for impeachment by Congress and removal of the justice if convicted?

What? And Schumer hasn’t called on him to recuse himself? What up with that?

This is why California hired Eric the Holder. These “judges” are his buttboys.

“Why isn’t this judicial misbehavior”

He did it before Obama put him on the bench, which is worse because you have the Kenyan giving him a payoff job.

And nothing will be said about this. What you just read is probably the last you’ll hear about it. This is also the Judge who is on a vendetta that get folks who recorded PP selling baby body parts.

It still isn’t unexpected that a judge would do this. This happened in 1994 with California’s Proposition 187. The liberals are hypocrites, because when it came to the Arizona Law in 2010, they said states can’t run immigration. Now they’re saying it’s ok to have sanctuary cities, and a judge is stopping the president!

This ruling should be ignored. SCOTUS has original jurisdiction where states sue the feds.

Ignore it anyway.

Which is why I was screaming at Rush today for referring to him as “judge” when he should have been calling him - obama money bundler.

You know I think robots would be useful to replace judges. Only the written law is programmed into them, no political ideology and no humanity. Independently verified and published.

Make the court issue a writ of mandamus ordering the gov. agency to pay. Then President Trump ignores it.

What I don’t get is why, obviously, none of the media has read the executive order...not difficult, I did. It says we will enforce the immigration laws (already in the books and, btw, passed under Bill Clinton). How can a presidential order to enforce a law already on the books be unconstitutional? This order is not “new” policy...it says to enforce the EXISTING law. Why aren’t we falling down laughing at this “so-called” judge? Damn the news media!

After the judge overturned prop 187 is when CA started going downhill quickly. It was voted for by the taxpayers, citizens of CA and overturned by one man. Same situation now.
