Fox News is facing renewed legal claims that it mistreated non-white employees, including a television anchor who said he was depicted as "the racist caricature of a black entertainer."
Eleven current and former Fox employees, including anchor Kelly Wright, filed an amended lawsuit in New York state court on Tuesday claiming they were demeaned, humiliated, paid less than white coworkers, and passed over for promotions.
The lawsuit was originally filed last month by two Fox News payroll employees. Tuesday's complaint added class action racial discrimination claims to the case.

Kelly Wright is a Marine who, as far as I know, was never prompted to act like a caricature (e.g., Stepnfetchit) on his newscasts.
Suppose he could always fall back on his old job at Raleigh NC doing local news.

The left is waging lawfare against FOX News to silence it.
Kelly Wright is a pleasant individual, but he has the charisma of a banana slug. And for a banana slug to slime the hand of those who feed him seems the apogee of chutzpah.
They always have that option. No matter what happens, in the final analysis, they can pull out the race card and play that.
It’s a necessary adjunct to affirmative action. Incompetent people are hired because of their race, they fail, and it is politically incorrect to notice the real cause of their failure.
FOX deserves what is happening to their network. They have been trending left for several years. The assault on candidate Donald Trump by their biased news talkers removed any illusion that FOX was still fair and balanced. The current flurry of gold digger claims should not surprise anybody. That table was set with the Carlson settlement. Easy money. The left is not taking Fox down, they have done it to themselves.
