I'd like to know why the Republican Party of Georgia didn't have the discipline to narrow the candidate list for this race. Splitting the GOP vote 11 ways against one dominant Democrat is very risky.

Couldn't somebody put their foot down here?

She’s in medical school. No guarantee she’ll get a slot in a residency program the district or even in Georgia.

Slightly off topic, but do you know what show has replaced "Joe D and Gresh" on WTIC 1080 at 3pm? I thought it was a terrible show, glad to see it gone. There are plenty of great radio sports shows in nearby NYC and Boston... why do we need a Hartford-based sports show running for 3-4 hours every day?? Yawn.

I usually listen to Howie Carr at 3pm on WHYN 560 (Springfield, MA) or Sean Hannity on Sirius/XM. WTIC should just run Hannity at 3pm, but I doubt they will.

Biggirl. Right now I am waiting to hear what WTIC AM is going present starting next week. Frankly the hours of 3PM to 6PM are very tough hours to cover for radio. Both Joe D. and Gresh are classy guys, but other for their take on the baseball park in Hartford and some very decent interviews, the showjust could not be sucessful.

Would not be surprised if it is going to be another news and take show. Maybe a national one. There is enough sports atations for the sports fans. Not crazy for this week’s sub.

Another problem is that once Rush is done, listeners are pretty much done with news talk issues for the. day unless something very major breaks. True you got Howie and Sean who both do a very decent job during those hours, but even so, people are done for the day.

I’m running FR, CTH, Breitbart, IAS, CNS and my own email server(s) from Oh-Dark-Thirty until 10:30 PM every day. (And that 2230 can slide two or three hours if something interesting pops up...besides Glen Beck being abducted by aliens again of course.)

I realize that I may be just a tad atypical, but you’ve really gotta watch those stereotypes, BG.
