The anti-Trump propaganda has gone nuclear, so it’s not so surprising that his ratings have taken a hit. Still not back considering the nearly monolithically lying news media.
Weren’t these same polls being used to show there was almost no chance Hillary was going to lose the election? After the 2016 election debacle, why should anyone believe any poll about anything - much less a useless Presidential popularity poll.
In this country 30% of the people have been conditioned to automatically respond with disapproval at the mention of Trump's name.
If they’re admitting to 50%...

This may or may not have been addressed in the comments, but the headline not only doesn’t match the source, but up 2% on a daily tracking poll is hardly “soaring.” In any other context, we would have called this a fake headline.

Y'all can bet your red Trump caps that the approval rating is much higher than that.
Will the doors and desks in the newsrooms of CNN and PMSNBC be decked out in black bunting and wilting lilies tonight? Will Cuomo and Tapper and Andrea and Matthews have ashes on their foreheads? Will Chopin's Funeral March be played softly in the background on each show?
Actually, the only question necessary is "will the lefty anti-Trump channels report this very sad polling news AT ALL tonight?".

Most of the poll movement is the conservative base. The liberal numbers are constant. Because of the media and the wrong health care replacement plan; some will express their disapproval. That doesn’t mean that they are going soft on President Trump. Just the opposite. They expect a liberal a** whooping, and by God they want to see it happening.
It’s all regional. Trumps approvals are like 10% or 20% in the North East or out here in California. In the South and Midwest he is probably at 60% approval. In the rust belt, he is probably 50-50.
So in other words CNN et al will continue to push the Gallop poll that has him at 41? Since he is actually creeping up in that poll as well, I expect them place a moratorium on approval ratings reports.
Next month it should be about 80%
