During an April 16 appearance on MSNBC, Moms Demand Action founder Shannon Watts suggested “caring Americans” support gun control, while others support or at least tolerate “the gun lobby.”
She was speaking on the 10th anniversary of the April 16, 2007, attack on Virginia Tech University, an attack in which one individual used guns acquired through background checks to kill 32 people in a gun-free zone.

Never underestimate the ability of Moms to make authoritative pronouncements on subjects about which they have little to no practical knowledge.
A handful of guys using airplanes devastated the Pentagon, brought down the World Trade Center and plowed a field when they intended to attack the Capitol. We lost 3000 good people and yet NOBODY is demanding we condemn airplanes for 3000 deaths. Stop giving these radical idiots free advertising!
