Still pouting Cruz lost the primary to Trump I see. How about you admit you WANT to believe this since it validate your poltical opinions about Trump?

Agree entirely. This 34 year old know it all was accepted into Harvard after his felon father gave the school $ 2.5 million (wonder if there was a connection?). He has never been elected to a single office, yet he seems to be the power behind the throne and insists on staffing the White House with his dilettante Manhattan liberal friends who were not the core of Trump’s support. You dance with the one that brung ya’, Mr. Trump and you were “brought” to the White House by Bannon, conservatives, and blue collar workers and farm families in rural areas and depressed manufacturing areas. They were there for you in the election and its aftermath; Soros and his leftist pals never were and would be the first to run you from office. Do you realize that?

Maybe it isn’t. I really don’t pay attention to all the articles from the site. I just did a quick search about the founders, etc. It does break stories.

What claptrap—I backed Trump way back over Cruz.

Doesn’t mean I’m not a realist looking at what is going on now—and hoping and advocating for Trump administration course correction.

Well, I mean ..looking for an explanation other than that...

I have never had a good thing to say about Yellen. He didn’t like her either.

Now he likes her. So what explanation can there be..other than moving left.

Maybe I am missing something about Yellen but I never liked her.

I absolutely agree.

The lesser two risks are Trump and Cruz.

I don’t like Cruz. I don’t like his insider connections while claiming to be an outsider. At least Trump owns up to his political expedient actions.

Chad Sweet was also involved with the Cruz campaign for Senate. Former Director of CIA and NSA had already become a Principal at Sweet’s firm by then. Cruz is no outsider

Is anyone here really happy with the way the NSC is being run? Perhaps a meddlesome influence is in order . . .

I should’ve checked with you, or some other source from Minnesotanstan, before replying. It’s obvious you have all the answers. /sarc

Trump said he would step in an settle this nonsense and I think it is time for him to publicly set the record straight. It is hard for me to believe that he would allow himself to be conned by the Leftists creating a wedge between him and Bannon by sneering that Bannon is the “brain” behind the administration. It appears that it is the Leftist press that is driving the narrative.

Uh, yeah, I do think someone in the White House is starting to get a bit worried, as are many of us and it’s only natural and to be expected that those concerns will be leaked - and probably from multiple sources. Kushner appears to be functioning as a Secretary of State in Waiting/National Security Advisor in Training and who knows what else. He clearly doesn’t have the experience for any of it and Bannon, who is about to get the boot, is standing in his way.

This “fake news” meme, like the “don’t believe it” cautions are getting a little old, as is the “Trump is playing multi-dimensional chess” BS. Some of us have clearly lost our objectivity and sense of curiosity with respect to the reasons for some of the things we’re seeing.

I might advise those here that the editor of the WFB is Matthew Continetti who is Bill Krystol’s son. WFB is generally known as ‘conservative,’ but to my mind that is the kind of ‘conservative’ establishment that wouldn’t include the Trump administration, certainly in Bill Krystol’s mind, questionable in the mind of WFB’s editor.

IOW, I generally take WFB output with a grain of salt. Your mileage may vary.

I believe the story from WAPO ...

That sums up your performance on FR.

You might ask the admin to change your id to HillaryChick.

That is the function you are performing on FR.

His son-in-law is what I should have said. Married to Bill Krystol’s daughter.

This article has every marking of a hit piece on Kushner that was orchestrated by Bannon.

But then, Kellyanne is reputed to be the biggest leaker in the WH. So one’s gotta wonder where she fits into the picture.

Oh what a tangled web they weave!

(And although Shakespeare didn’t author the quote, he would have loved the intrigue!)
