Not true. Obama gave JSOC permission to kill anyone, even Americans, anywhere on the planet, even in America. And they already used that permission to kill a US citizen (Abdulrahman al-Awlaki ) who was the son of a Muslim Imam.

Okay. I agree completely with all this ‘sentiment’ but no one can sit where he is and say some blanket order against combatants translates to the legality of assassinating an established foreign leader. It just doesn’t fly.

I know there have been one-offs that aimed at that, but I don’t think they ever sought to claim responsibility. I could be wrong. Posturing and making the putz feel threatened is great, frankly. I hope he believes it. I just don’t advise that it be actuated where Trump can take the blame that would come.
