A vehicle crashed into people in Drottninggatan in the Swedish capital and at least three have died, according to authorities.

Police said it drove into department store Ahlens Mall around 3.40pm local time and there are reports of numerous others being injured.

Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Lofven said everything indicates that it is a "terror attack".
