In January, Susan Rice Assured NPR the Obama Admin Removed Chemical Weapons From Syria

It seems the former national security adviser has a credibility problem.

According to a recent headline from Reuters, "U.S. intelligence agencies suspect Assad did not turn over all chemical weapons stockpile." The evidence of the recent chemical attack in Syria makes that declaration little more than stating the obvious. However, back in January in an in interview with NPR, Obama national security adviser Susan Rice was still touting the Obama administration's success at removing chemical weapons in Syria:

...

Between her dubious public statements on Benghazi, the Bowe Bergdahl desertion, her recent denial that she knew anything about unmasking Trump officials' identities in intelligence reports, and now this—it would seem Rice has a real problem with credibility.

Susan Rice's comments on Bowe Bergdahl:

Susan Rice, on Sunday said Bergdahl served the United States with "honor and distinction,"

Her credibility has been shredded. She’s like some dark and sinister stage presence in a dystopian play.

She should add “Yeah, that’s the ticket!” at the end of every statement she issues.

Maybe Matt Damon can make a movie about how there were no chemical weapons found in Syria.

Maybe she was right, Assad had removed all his chemical weapons to the Clinton Foundation, after all, they don’t have much to do these days. Or do they?

OH WHAT A TERRIBLE WEB WE WEAVE, WHEN FIRST WE PRACTICE TO DECEIVE.

Susan Rice has been lying her whole life; I’d say it’s close to pathological.

In Rice’s delusional, Marxist/Orwellian world, Bergdahl “did” serve with “honor and distinction”.

So did Alger Hiss, Frank Coe, Owen Lattimore, the Rosenbergs and Morton Sobell.

Nothing smells worse than rotting Rice.

Another lie by a very committed liar.

From Libya, Benghazi, Iraq, Syria, ISIS, to Afghanistan, to the explosion of terrorism, to North Korea and South China Sea the Obama legacy is that he let the world become a toxic waste dump, and then continue to lie about it. Trump has to clean it up.

Obama’s lack of leadership, his apology tour, his dissembling, his altering of intelligence reports, his fake red line threats, his Russian Reset, just emboldened the terrorist nations to increase their horrible acts and use WMD.

Best advice for Susan Rice I’ve heard.

Rice needs to face a perjury charge. Then she won’t be so loose with what is true.

Not defending her, but it's a fact that anyone with access to swimming pool or water system chemicals can very easily whip up a crude weapon capable of killing a few hundred people. It appears that what happened in Syria is something of this sort, and not something sophisticated and far more deadly (like VX or Sarin).

What an “honor” to be known as the biggest liar of the 21st Century. Hey, go big or go home, right, Susan Rice?

how does one differentiate a chemical weapon from a plain chemical?

The account I read said the gas was chlorine. Chlorine is used in swimming pools and water purification.

There is a lot of room there for telling a tale that some want to believe
