I also caught a peculiar look on Comey’s face during the hearing when the press was discussed. It gave me a gut feeling that he leaked this crap to the press.

Not true. Comey is a willing co-conspirator with the media, congressional Dems and even some Reps. Comey is a snake who clearly is in the Dems' corner.
As for the Republicans, there was ZERO reason to hold this hearing today except to embarrass and slap President Trump down. I am beyond disgusted with the entire political-media establishment. They are killing this country. Just killing it. And the one man who stands in their way is being hamstrung by the same old establishment games. They are more interested in feathering their own nests than in serving the best interests of this country.

I hate to say it but it’s probably true, He missed his chance to fire this creep. Unless Trump is holding a BIG card to play this weight will be around his neck permanently. I think a special prosecutor is almost inevitable now. We had a bad day today Comey is a vindictive little bitch and set Trump up and it hurt. And by the way unless Sessions does so the leakers won’t be exposed let alone prosecuted.
It's a meme that the Dems cooked up way back starting on July 31, 2015 when Trump the declared candidate was first asked what he thought of Putin. Trump answered forthrightly enough as follows: "I think I'd get along very well with Vladimir Putin. I just think so." (See CNN timeline reaching back to 2007).
Trump had no way of knowing the Left was using his early innocent remarks to set up a completely false claim that he conspired with the Russians to affect the 2016 election. The false claim has now taken on a life of its own thanks to help from the media that has kept pounding on the story. Thanks to stupid Republicans who held this hearing today to give Comey all the cover he needed to openly say there is an investigation. Thanks to the Left, which never, ever accepts defeat or gives up.
I’ve had similar conversations with them over global warming, usually ending with: `E-mail me the facts you base your position on when you get home, extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence,’ etc.

No, fire Comey in the summer while the Cong is in recess and replace him. Months later, send the new FBI director for senate confirmation.
Hannity and Jay Sekulow also said Comey needs to go after his performance today.

No evidence his phone was “wire tapped”. They don’t do wire taps any more, they use more modern surveillance methods.
Trump was able to beat them all and become President because he had all of us behind him. Every time they thought they had him, he would have another giant rally and he would win.

He’s not a figurehead! My God, are you nuts? You think Trump would appoint a do nothing figurehead? He recused himself about any investigations connected with the campaign and Hitlery, that’s it. PLUS he said his assistant AG could handle anything he recused himself from.
