I keep hearing “just wait, just wait, next week you’ll see...” If Trump is holding the cards he says he has, now is the time to start playing a few.
Nothing will change until we see real evidence with NAMES attached. He will never convince the left, what he can only hope to do is convince the Republican House and Senate to stand firm. And his argument continues to weaken with them as long as we keep hearing “just wait until next week”.

Given these facts, is it unreasonable to say he would tap the phones and monitor activities of his chosen successor’s biggest rival? To defend his legacy?

I watched the whole thing and that’s not what Comey said.
He said that there was no sign that anyone wiretapped Trump during the election or since he has been in office. He also said that there are signs that Trunp had contacts with Putin in December 2015. Then Comey went against FBI policy and said the investigation of Trump is in it’s early stages.
Or why? Where might be the persuasive motive?
In all cases, “there is no evidence” should always be replaced with “have received no evidence” or “have seen no evidence”, or some similar phrase indicating the limitations based on your personal, subjective experiences vs. what otherwise would be an omniscience that no one other than the Lord possesses.
More like she STOLE the popular vote with illegal alien “voters” and shenanigans during the early voting.

Comey and his deputy McCabe may go in the Summer recess. Recess appoint the next FBI Director, and then when things die down, submit his name for confirmation to the Senate sometime in the following 6 to 12 months.

The Ministry of Propaganda failed to derail the nomination of Donald Trump; they failed to derail the election of President Trump; and they will similarly fail to derail the Presidency of Donald Trump.
If the Media has nothing but slimy, baseless innuendo, they cannot prevail; the only thing way they can prevail is if the People allow themselves to be manipulated by these criminals.
That's why all this concern trolling is just absolutely counterproductive. It does nothing but aid and abet the Enemy, and there's no doubt in my mind that a portion of that crowd is deliberately spreading Enemy propaganda in an effort to adversely affect morale.

See, if they whip up allegations like this immediately after the election and then Trump replaces Comey it would look like he I trying to interfere with an election. Trump should now act swiftly and fire Comey. comey just said no evidence with the vote tampering. Trump should hang his hat on that, and retweet that over the next three weeks. Fire Comey simultaneously while having no more cause to be see as interfering with an election.
