During the campaign, they wanted to prove that Trump was worth significantly less than he was boasting, since his "credibility" as a candidate came from his claimed business success.

They all felt that his taxes would prove that he was much less wealthy than his public persona led voters to believe, therefore he was a lot less credible a candidate than the voters were being led to believe.

That would be funny. Trump already said he has no deals with Russia and no properties in Russia. Unless he reports payments for collusion with Russia as ordinary income on his tax returns, there shouldn't be anything about Russia in there.

What I don’t get is that once RM had her hands on the document and looked at it, it didn’t occur to her that this isn’t going to push the ‘Trump doesn’t pay taxes’ agenda? Is she/he too stupid not to put one and one together? RHL just touched on this and I think his take is right, these people are too blind by their hatred to think straight.

Don't discount eight years of Obama purging true "Warrior Generals" because of ginned-up "loss of confidence" charges as the reason for our current social military.

President Trump has never made "blaming Democrats" a goal.

Trump campaigned on making deals and getting along, so I can't believe he'd be a part of establishment party fighting that would consider taking one of Trump's biggest promises and crassly using it as a weapon to blame the other side.

I expect Trump would say that's not why the voters sent him to the White House, but so far he's only said nice things about the Ryan Plan, so that makes me wonder if Trump really is letting Ryan lead him along right now.

I would like to see Trump step out on this and put an end to it. I'd like to see Trump say that he's reconsidered the direction that this bill is going, and ask that it be pulled so he can focus on getting a clean repeal bill passed.

The simple answer is "yes." With just a little thought and research she would have realized that this was released some time ago. If there was anyone who had any regard for her, they would have told her that she had the equivalent of proof that the "Cubs won the world series."

She made a total ass of herself on TV, and now she has to wait until someone does something even more stupid. She is lucky because for the left, it won't take long.
