The owner of an equestrian centre rejects $1.79 million offer for 4.5 hectare property because the offer came from Muslim businessmen.
Gainsborough Equestrian Centre owner John O'Leary, says he rejected the offer from the Islamic group 'on principle '– they had reportedly planned to build a function centre complete with prayer room in the South Australia suburub of Golden Grove.
'We want Australia to remain Australia and not disappear,' Mr O'Leary told Adelaide Now.
'I'm a right-winger of Irish Catholic background.'

Although he probably doesn’t need it and we stipulate it goes to the right wing charity of his choice, someone set up a gofundme for this guy. Then have him set up an email where he can receive our way to go mates.

I’m surprised the potential buyer told the seller anything about their intended use. They will likely buy it using some other front agent that tells the seller whatever they want to hear — “Our dream has always been to own an equestrian center !”
I’m also surprised Australia doesn’t have stricter zoning laws that would prevent this. Then again, there seem to be an awful lot of churches in residential neighborhoods, so maybe this isn’t too surprising.

I’d like to pat this guy on the back and give him a cigar. If Europe/Australia/New Zealand/U.S. had more guys like this they would not be in danger of national suicide.
