Khizr Khan, the Muslim American Gold Star father who famously railed against President Donald Trump at last year’s Democratic National Convention, has cancelled a planned speech he was scheduled to give in Toronto after being informed that his travel privileges are “under review.”
Rosa Hwang, a senior producer at CTV National News, reports that Khan received word that his privileges were under review on Sunday evening. It is not clear from Khan’s account who has put him under review.
“This turn of events is not just concerning to me, but to all my fellow Americans who cherish our freedom to travel abroad,” said Khan, whose son, U.S. Army Capt. Humayun S.M. Khan, died in Iraq in 2004. “I have not been given any reason as to why.”

Actually, Canada has some very strict visa restrictions for foreign visitors.
If you are American and have a DWI on your record, you can’t be granted entry. You’re basically considered one step below a convicted serial rapist.

How stupid is this guy? America does not grant “travel privileges” and hence cannot withdraw them. If he can’t go to Toronto suddenly, it’s probably due to a passport or credentials issue on Canada’s end. US govt. has no authority to stop a US citizen from traveling outside the country - although once they do, we should be requiring valid ID upon their return.
I feel badly for Mr. Khan losing his brave son, but frankly find it unseemly to continue trading on his heroism to advance what we now know to be left-leaning talking points

I may have missed it, but I couldn't even find in the article, which country he claims is reviewing his travel privileges.
I doubt the Department of U.S. Customs and Border Protection contacts anyone ahead of time. Why should they, especially if they have plans to seize someone who is on a wanted list. They're not in the travel business for God's sake, so why should they make what compares to a "wake up" call to travelers.
The muzzie lawyer who specializes in getting Visas for other muzzies, is having trouble getting himself over the border.
Did he ever end up lending his copy of the constitution to Donald Trump???
